They’re married! It has been such a fun time getting to know Anna & Trent over the course of planning their dream day. I traveled to Savannah back in September to capture their wedding at The Mackey House. Talk about a beautiful venue – nestled between oak trees with Spanish moss swaying in sync with the wind.
Anna & Trent were actually married in February (about a week before our engagement session) because Trent is in the military. When they caught wind that Trent might be deployed, they wanted to be sure and be married beforehand. Thankfully, Anna & Trent still got to celebrate their dream wedding in September.
From start to finish, the details of this wedding were so intentional and thought out. Trent’s love for Anna is something that every girl dreams of. His reaction during their first look & Anna walking down the aisle was pure sweetness. Surrounded by family and friends, they danced the night away and their reception is one of my favorite ones I have ever shot. Seriously, it was SO FUN.
A couple of months late but congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Trent Melby! Your day is one that I will remember forever & ever!

This is one of my favorite things Anna & Trent did. After they exited the ceremony, they asked all their guests to surround them at the end of the aisle so they could get a picture of everyone in attendance. This is a great idea!
