I have been trying to wrap my head around the fact that summer has almost come to an end. It feels like just yesterday the weather was getting warmer and the flowers were starting to bloom again. For me, this summer has been different; adjusting to post-grad life, moving, and going full-time for MGP have been some of the biggest changes.
After graduation, I headed back to Georgia for two weeks to spend some time with family and friends before kicking off a new chapter of life in Birmingham.

Bayler came to BHAM and was quite the helper when I moved. I also learned that I have an unhealthy addiction to shoes…

Raegan came to BHAM and shot video for a wedding I was photographing, so naturally, we had a brand photoshoot before she left. As photographers, it is hard to have your picture taken but that is something I look forward to with Raegan behind the camera!

Literally, the next day after Raegan left, I flew down to Orlando, FL for the week. The week consisted of a quick bachelorette trip for the bride-to-be, spending time with friends and my boy’s family, celebrating the NEWLYWEDS, and lots of laughs. Definitely one of the most fun weeks!

After returning from Orlando, I shot a couple of weddings, and portrait sessions & then headed back home to GA for a quick weekend! Attended a wedding of some family friends with my dad and then had a lake afternoon before heading back to BHAM.

After a quick turnaround in BHAM for a wedding, I hopped on a plane back down to Orlando for Anna’s senior session. I was able to keep it a secret for several weeks and surprised Isaiah! He had NO idea!!! I still can’t believe I was able to pull it off with the help of his mom & sister. It was a quick weekend but so sweet and SO fun! I tried to upload the video of the surprise but couldn’t get it to work!

When does summer officially end? When school is back in session I assume, or when the calendar says it is the first day of fall. Summer isn’t over yet and I still have a few things planned! I am headed up to Crossville, TN for a wedding this weekend. I feel like the older you get, the busier your summer gets. Even when you become an adult, the summers are such a busy time. In the midst of a fully booked wedding season, I have been able to find some time for a few fun trips and time spent with family and friends. This summer has been different, but a good different! Here’s to the last few weeks of what summer has to offer!
