I’ve been waiting for this wedding day for SO LONG! I have been individually friends with Anna Catherine & Garrett since my freshman year at Samford. When they reached out to me about photographing their wedding, I was busting at the seams with excitement because I knew it would be an incredible day. From our first conversation over lunch at Chipotle (the first time I ever tried Chipotle), they made the process for ME so fun and enjoyable, which is typically my job!
I arrived at the beautiful Oak Meadow Event Center in Ohatchee, Alabama on an enjoyable April day. Upon my arrival, I knew two things: One, Anna Catherine was one of the calmest and most excited brides I had ever worked with, and two, every detail of the day was so perfectly planned. One of my favorite parts about this wedding was the pops of color that Anna Catherine incorporated through her flowers. It was so refreshing to photograph vibrant colors on a beautiful spring day! The entire wedding day was a dream from start to finish. It started with photographing their details which included some of the prettiest flowers I have ever seen and it ended with a fun DJ that kept all of the guests on the dance floor until the last minute. Talk about an incredible day!
Anna Catherine & Garrett have so many people that love them. Every single person in attendance was beaming with joy for the two of them the entire day. Their reception was SO MUCH FUN and the joy expressed by each guest continued into the night. I had a blast capturing their reception.
