Ever since Meg reached out to me and said they would be doing a brunch wedding, I was all in! Meet Will and Meg Hanson. These two are some of the most amazing people you will ever come across. Will and Meg met through a mutual friend and it was very evident that sparks flew.
They tied the knot on March 19th at the beautiful Red Gates at Kelly Creek, in Moody, Alabama. Threats of clouds and rain were persistent the week leading up to their wedding. Just as we walked outside for their first look, the Lord parted the clouds and it was nothing but sunny skies and I Do’s for the rest of the day!
Pour Birmingham, a mobile bar, set up shop in front of the beautiful 2-story barn. The bride and groom’s menu included: Mint Tea, Bloody Mary’s, Mimosas, and Coffee! Bayley’s Catering served a plethora of southern staples such as chicken and waffles, shrimp and grits, bacon, and more fruit than you’ve ever seen!
I am thrilled to have had the honor of capturing their wedding day. Will and Meg have been one of my favorite couples to work with. They are the perfect picture of how Christ shows us to love one another. If I had to pick a word to describe Will and Meg, it would be selfless.
Congratulations to two of my favorite people! The Hansons!

Meg’s friend Catherine, owner of Hi Y’all, created these stunning invitation inserts from a personalized painting that was displayed during the wedding. The painting is coming up so keep scrolling!

Will & Meg ended their reception with a private last dance. A last dance is when you ask all of your guests to exit the reception area and like your first, you have your last dance. I absolutely love this idea and when the time comes for me, I will absolutely be doing this!!!
I have said it once and I will say it again, these two were incredible. Meg was the most easygoing bride, and Will was nothing short of amazing, helping Meg the entire day with whatever she needed.
Cheers to the Hansons!
